Taylor Medical Wellness, Weight Loss and Aesthetic Group is an in-person integrative medicine practice in Atlanta, offering weight-loss medication, IV infusions and other treatments from one office on Peachtree Dunwoody Road. Its notable feature is that two physicians run it and are named with their board certifications: Dr. Eldred B. Taylor, M.D., in obstetrics and gynecology, and Dr. Ava Bell-Taylor, M.D., in psychiatry. The drawback is that most treatments are not priced online, and the practice's federal agency history includes a Federal Trade Commission warning letter, set out below.
What it costs
Only a few services carry a published price. Iron infusions are $450 for 100 mg, $600 for 200 mg and $750 for 300 mg, and a new patient, or anyone not seen for more than a year, first pays a $175 consultation so the doctor can review lab work and set the dose. Insurance is not accepted for iron infusions, though HSA and FSA cards are. A glutathione and vitamin C IV bag costs $200 to $600 depending on the dose, from 1.5 grams to 10 grams, and buying a package saves $50 per treatment. Semaglutide is not priced: the page says the cost depends on the dose and formulation and asks you to call 678-443-4000 for current pricing. Before booking anything else, ask for the full cost of the treatment, any consultation fee, and whether labs are extra, because none of that is published for most of the services the practice offers.

Dr. Eldred Taylor's Healthgrades profile shows 4.1 stars from nine ratings, 78 percent five-star and 22 percent one-star, with a single written review praising him as knowledgeable and willing to take time over questions. The Better Business Bureau file, which also lists the business as Taylor Medical Group, P.C., shows a B minus grade, no accreditation, one complaint closed in three years, no customer reviews, and the file opened March 8, 2007 against a business start of August 12, 2003. The BBB gives the grade's reason as the business's failure to respond to that one complaint. Reddit was not sampled.
